Vehicle Inspections typically take anywhere between 12 to 48 business hours to complete. This depends highly on the seller and the inspector being able to coordinate a time for the inspector to come out to inspect the car. The reports are compiled shortly after the inspection process is completed. We do our absolute best to have the report ready for you as soon as possible, but in some rare instances there could be delays due to the seller being uncooperative and refusing to make the vehicle available for inspection within a reasonable time frame. weather events, disasters and other factors outside our direct control may also delay the inspection process. While we understand how important it is to have your vehicle inspection as soon as possible and strive to get your report into your inbox as soon as possible, due to factors outside our control, we cannot guarantee a date and time by which the inspection report will be available.
We urge customers to plan accordingly and coordinate with the seller to make sure they can make the vehicle available for a pre-purchase inspection and, if needed, hold the vehicle until such time as an inspection can be performed.
While we are open 7 days a week, some of the inspectors in your area may not be available during the weekends or holidays.
Due to elements outside our control, vehicle inspections cannot be expedited. We do our very best to get them out as soon as possible, in most cases within 48 business hours after the report service is purchased.
If the vehicle sells before one of our inspectors has a chance to view and inspect the vehicle, we will issue you a credit that can be used towards a future inspection. Once you find another preowned vehicle, you will be able to use that credit to have the vehicle inspected.
Once prepared, your report will be sent to the email address used during the purchase and registration process. Your report will also be available within your customer control panel, which can be accessed at any time by visiting betterwheels.com/login.

These reports will be saved for 30 days after the date of origination. We strongly encourage you to download your reports and save them locally for future references.
